Position Title: SharePoint Developer

Timings: 6pm to 3am

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SharePoint Developer to design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions for both on-premises and online (Microsoft 365) environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint development, customization, and integration, with expertise in creating scalable and secure solutions to meet business needs. The SharePoint Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance collaboration, document management, and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development:
    1. Develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts for both SharePoint On-Premises (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365).
    2. Design and develop workflows using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) and SharePoint Designer.
    3. Build and integrate third-party tools and APIs to extend SharePoint functionality.
  2. Migration and Upgrades:
    1. Plan and execute migrations from SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online.
    2. Upgrade and optimize existing SharePoint solutions to align with modern SharePoint standards.
    3. Ensure data integrity and minimal downtime during migration and upgrade processes.
  3. Customization and Integration:
    1. Customize SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box features, themes, and branding.
    2. Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, Power BI, OneDrive, and Outlook).
    3. Develop and maintain custom web parts, apps, and extensions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  4. Collaboration and Support:
    1. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    2. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues.
    3. Train end-users and create documentation for SharePoint solutions.
  5. Security and Compliance:
    1. Implement and manage SharePoint security settings, permissions, and access controls.
    2. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
    3. Monitor and optimize SharePoint performance and security.
  6. Innovation and Best Practices:
    1. Stay updated with the latest SharePoint trends, tools, and technologies.
    2. Recommend and implement best practices for SharePoint development and administration.
    3. Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell scripts and other tools.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. 3+ years of experience in SharePoint development, including both On-Premises and Online environments.
  3. Hands-on experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  4. Experience with SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix) is a plus.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integration with SharePoint.
