Description
Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. They manage and develop client accounts to establish and maintain favorable relationships with clients. They are responsible for leading a team of Account Managers dedicated to meeting the operational needs of assigned client segments.
Requires a bachelor's degree in the relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in the field or a related area. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Extensive experience and judgment are relied upon to plan and accomplish goals. The role involves performing a variety of tasks, leading and directing the work of others, with a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Typically reports to the head of a department or unit.
Job Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
- Assist customers via email, phone, online presentations, screen-sharing, and in-person meetings.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions aligned with customer needs and objectives.
- Communicate progress of initiatives to stakeholders clearly and regularly.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Participate in educational opportunities to update job knowledge, including reading professional publications, maintaining networks, and engaging in professional organizations.
- Enhance the organization's reputation by taking ownership of new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
- Maintain current client satisfaction and deliver exceptional service daily.
- Monitor and analyze customer usage of products.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing relationships.
- Act as liaison between the customer and internal teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in account management or relevant roles.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels, including C-level.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Over 5 years of marketing experience, preferably with an agency background.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Experience selling Microsoft products.
- Strong relationship-building skills, integrity, reliability, and maturity.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of website development, marketing, analytics, content management, and internet technology.
- Excellent time and project management skills, with a focus on process improvement.
- Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and other cloud services like AWS, Alibaba, Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure is a plus.
