We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with expertise in Informatica to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data integration, transformation, and loading processes, preferably within the banking domain. As an ETL Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes that support critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to integrate data from multiple sources into a data warehouse or data mart.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into efficient ETL solutions.
  • Develop and implement data transformation rules and ensure that data is clean, accurate, and accessible for downstream systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, data integration, and performance.
  • Perform ETL performance tuning to ensure processes are optimized for efficiency and scalability.
  • Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and production deployment activities.
  • Document ETL processes, mapping specifications, and system configurations.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards in the ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with data architects and other teams to ensure alignment with enterprise data strategies.
  • Support ongoing enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance of the ETL environment.
  • Provide support for data-related issues and troubleshoot production jobs as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-8 years of hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica (PowerCenter, IDQ, etc.).
  • Experience working with data models, SQL, and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Preference: Strong experience in the banking or financial services domain, with knowledge of banking data models, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
