Job Role / Responsibilities:
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Timely payment to various suppliers, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Accurate recording of expenses as per the entity's policies and compliance with local laws and granting agencies requirements.
- Reviewing receivables and payables ensuring they are followed up and settled timely.
- Reviewing aging and taking necessary actions.
- Coordinating with external/internal audits pertaining to these items.
- Variance analysis and monitoring receivables and payables.
- Reconciliation of subsidiary records with reported numbers and automation of subsidiary records.
- Supervising various closing JVs and working for cost allocations, donations, provisions.
- Identify process improvement areas and enhancing use of ERP or other automation tools and implement for bringing in efficiencies in the operations.
- Facilitating GA team in ERP related matters including approvals and rights assignment.
Qualifications:
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You should have/be:
- ACCA / CMA / CA finalist or ACCA/ CMA finalist with at least 5 years of experience, Masters with 7 years' experience preferable in payables.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a management position preferably in payables.
- Sound knowledge of overall financial systems, accounting standards, and Pakistan withholding tax laws.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead, motivate, and develop team members to work towards achieving the set goals and objectives.
- Excellence at carrying out data analysis.
- Strong command on MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and meet strict deadlines.
