Role purpose

The Education Counsellor provides excellent counselling services to guide international students in choosing institutions that align with their academic and career goals. Responsibilities include providing information on study opportunities, local education systems, culture, geographic regions, assisting with applications, facilitating enrolments, and promoting IDP services.

Key accountabilities

1. Achieve pipeline goals, customer satisfaction, and advocacy targets by managing the student journey, promoting products, maintaining leads, and participating in events.
2. Deliver outstanding customer service to students, families, and education providers, offering clear information on admissions and processes, and engaging proactively.

Required Experience

1. Experience in sales or customer service environments with target achievement.
2. Understanding of the education sector, student placement, immigration requirements, and processes.
3. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience as an Education Counsellor or similar.
4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, fluency in English.
