Job Opportunity: Research Associate

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the position in the Department of Physiology under Team Leader II PARB Project 582, titled "Utilization of poultry farm litter and dead birds compost as livestock feed ingredient and agriculture fertilizer".

Position Details
  • Post name: Research Associate (1)
  • Monthly Stipend: PKR 40,000/-
  • Contract duration: 4 years
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualification/Eligibility: PhD Student (already enrolled or newly admitted in the Department of Physiology, with a Veterinary Sciences background)
  • Experience: Poultry and ruminants feed analysis, DNA extraction, PCR, tissue culture, and good writing skills. Ability to work in team and individual settings, and manage lab supplies. Preference for candidates with relevant project experience.
Project Information

The project duration is 48 months. The position is temporary. The selected candidate may use partial project data for their PhD thesis with the consent of the Team Leader, who will act as the supervisor. Intellectual property rights will remain with the Team Leader. The Research Associate will not claim any rights regarding the project data.
