Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced backend developer with expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frameworks like NestJS. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of building RESTful APIs, working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, and deploying solutions in cloud environments. You will be part of a dynamic team, focused on delivering high-quality and efficient backend services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of backend architecture and its alignment with front-end requirements.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL using TypeORM.
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness of the backend codebase.
  • Containerize applications using Docker for efficient development, testing, and deployment.
  • Work with cloud technologies like GCP Functions or other serverless platforms for scalable cloud-native applications.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Monitor application performance and fix bugs in production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experiencein backend development with TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience withNestJSfor building scalable and maintainable server-side applications.
  • Proficient in buildingRESTful APIsand integrating them with various front-end platforms.
  • Strong experience withPostgreSQLandTypeORMfor relational database design, optimization, and querying.
  • Familiarity withPostmanfor API testing and documentation.
  • Solid understanding ofDockerfor containerization and deployment.
  • Hands-on experience working withcloud platforms(preferablyGoogle Cloud Platformor any serverless environment like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, etc.).
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with additional cloud services likeAWSorAzure.
  • Knowledge ofCI/CDpipelines for automated deployment.
  • Familiarity withGraphQLor other API query languages.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
