Job Description:

As our Afghan Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting traditional Afghan dishes in a home-based kitchen environment. Your expertise in Afghan cuisine will be key to delivering authentic and high-quality meals to our clientele. You will manage all aspects of kitchen operations from recipe creation to meal preparation and will ensure that every dish meets our standards for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and Cook Afghan Cuisine: Prepare a variety of traditional Afghan dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, ensuring authenticity and high quality.

Menu Development: Assist in developing and refining the menu, incorporating both classic recipes and innovative ideas.

Ingredient Management: Oversee the selection, preparation, and storage of ingredients to ensure freshness and proper handling.

Kitchen Management: Manage kitchen operations efficiently within a home setting, including maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety standards.

Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.

Customer Interaction: Handle customer feedback professionally and make necessary adjustments to meet their expectations.

Qualifications:

Expertise in Afghan Cuisine: In-depth knowledge and experience in preparing traditional Afghan dishes.

Culinary Experience: Proven experience as a chef, ideally in a similar role or within a home-based kitchen environment.

Creativity and Innovation: Ability to create and adapt recipes while maintaining traditional flavors.

Self-Starter: Ability to work independently in a home-based setting and manage time effectively.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Communication Skills: Effective communicator with a professional approach to customer service.

Education & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Afghan cuisine.
