MEDS NEXUS, a USA-based company, is looking for a Sr. A/R Specialist – Vision Care Practice(s) for its Rawalpindi office.

Responsible for insurance verifications, authorizations, collecting, posting, and managing account payments. Responsible for submitting claims and following up with insurance companies.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares and submits vision claims daily to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper.
  • Promptly processes payments from insurance companies.
  • Identifies and resolves insurance & patient billing complaints.
  • Follows up on aging claims or delinquent accounts.
  • Participates in educational activities and attends monthly billing meetings.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA – PHI guidelines/regulations.

Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge of vision care billing and collection practices.
  • Understanding of vision care payers' guidelines and submission process.
  • Expertise in Medicaid & MCD MCOs' claims processing.
  • Knowledge of authorizations and denial management.
  • Proficiency with computer programs and business office procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of vision coding and third-party operations.
  • Ability to operate a computer, office equipment, and multi-line telephone system.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of establishing effective working relationships.

Experience

Candidates should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in medical billing & A/R management, preferably in vision care practice.

Job Timing:

  • 05:00 PM to 03:00 AM

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months
Salary: Rs50,000 – Rs70,000 per month
