About the Role

We are looking for a talented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You'll work closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle using modern automation frameworks and best practices.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on automation experience and a problem-solving mindset who wants to build scalable test systems—not just execute test cases manually.

This position is not for manual testers. If you do not have practical experience with automation tools and frameworks, kindly do not apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile e-commerce applications
  • Design, write, and execute detailed test plans and test cases
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure seamless product releases
  • Report, document, and track bugs through resolution
  • Test responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and device performance
  • Ensure compliance with product requirements and business logic
  • Verify data accuracy, user journeys, and payment gateway integrations
  • Contribute to regression, smoke, and UAT testing cycles
  • (If applicable) Develop and maintain automated test cases using testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in QA for web-based applications, ideally in e-commerce
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp)
  • Ability to understand business flows and test end-to-end user scenarios
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and browser dev tools for debugging
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications (Eligible for Additional Pay)

  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Experience testing large-scale e-commerce platforms
  • Experience with e-commerce mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
