  • Maintain, develop and build strong relationships with accounts, in person, via telephone calls and emails.
  • Communicate and influence Distributors to understand their business models, research requirements and make sales where appropriate.
  • Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations.
  • Develop methods and procedures for transportation of commodities for designated shippers from local or offshore locations to warehouses, other storage facilities or final consignee locations.
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with local vendors (e.g. Airline representatives, freight forwarders, custom brokers, local pickup and delivery companies) as well as other co-load carriers.
Job Specification
  • 5+ years related industry experience preferred.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of state, federal and international applicable laws and regulations as they relate to primary services provided (i.e. Customs, Security, other import & export government agencies that regulate international trade).
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Business acumen and customer focused, with an ability to remain flexible when customer conditions require.
