We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

In this role you will:

  1. Execute SME Lead role for complex projects and programs.
  2. Code, test, debug, and record COBOL programs in CICS/VSAM/JCL environment.
  3. Understand design and requirements, develop, and execute custom application features and functions.
  4. Understand the BRD and break the requirements into MVPs and stories.
  5. Collaborate with architects, solution analysts, SMEs from various teams to drive the right solution and outcome.
  6. Create estimates for medium to large-sized projects.
  7. Create high-level design and analyze and develop code as per specifications.
  8. Conduct project reviews for design, code, and unit test results.
  9. Follow standards and controls to ensure quality of outcome.
  10. Be accountable for production deployment and post-development activities.
  11. Provide application production support.
  12. Support development projects and provide production support as needed.
  13. Participate in and drive crisis calls for production incidents.
  14. Identify and work on system performance improvements.
  15. Mentor junior developers in the team.
  16. Manage stakeholder relationships.
