Job Purpose:

  • To execute the project for optical fiber cable deployment & integrate active and passive network element in North Region.
  • To lead the fiber route survey for self deployment and integration fiber projects.
  • To coordinate with vendors to deploy the optical fiber network according to standards and specifications. - To visit and monitor the optical fiber deployment project and ensure quality of work.
  • Coordination and liaison with Government and Private Agencies for ROW acquisition.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To execute the project for optical fiber cable deployment & integrate active and passive network element in North Region.
  • Deployment of Transmission network elements including Core optical nodes and ensure integration with newly deployed fiber.
  • Generate WOs in coordination with Regional & peer Teams for timely Power & space arrangement for smooth execution of project.
  • Coordination with NOMC to conduct PAT/PACs for new fiber deployment
  • Conduct Factory testing for OFC/Ducts/Hand Holes.
  • Analyze technical issues that may be encountered during the project execution and facilitate coordination meeting among various vendors and stakeholder to conclude resolution and activity plan and follow it up till resolution of the issue.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations of both CMPak and Vendor should be met during the course of project execution from start till the end including acceptance.
  • Closely track availability of equipment and required resources with the vendors to ensure timely delivery of the project.
  • Organize weekly and monthly meetings with service provider to analyze progress and resolution of the issues. Perform the technical inspection and quality assurance.
  • Resolve technical issues during execution in a timely manner Responsible for project closure & BOQs reconciliation while handling over the project to NOMC upon successful completion of projects.
  • Project Management of Optical Fiber cable deployment ensuring Fiber Optics laying according to QoS assurance & testing standards.
  • Ensure to maintain product drawings, specifications, and data sheets site surveys during implementation phase, Fiber Quality Audits and Acceptance.
  • FTTS/FTTH Project Management/Deployment in North Region.
  • LH/Metro Fiber deployment and project Management.
  • ROW verification and coordination with ROW authorities

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelors/BSC Electrical or Civil Engineering / BS Electronics (16 Years Education)

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is required

Skills – Generic:

  • Deep knowledge of Optical Fiber deployment
  • Coordination skills with ROW department

Skills – Job Specific:

  • Have good skills of optical fiber cable deployment.
  • Have deep knowledge of fiber deployment standards & Specifications.
  • Have coordination skills with ROW authorities.
