TracxTMS is a provider of cloud-based transportation management software (TMS) designed to help trucking businesses with compliance, automation, and expansion. Their software aims to boost efficiency through advanced automation, eliminate risks with reliable compliance features, and increase revenue. TracxTMS offers personalized service and customizable tools to fit specific business needs. It also integrates with major accounting systems like QuickBooks and provides direct integrations with USPS systems for payments. Key features include real-time GPS tracking, intuitive dispatch tools, and insightful analytics.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing quality assurance activities to deliver robust, reliable software solutions. The successful candidate should demonstrate significant experience in both manual and automated testing, deep expertise in regression and API testing, and comprehensive knowledge of all phases of the software testing lifecycle. This role collaborates cross-functionally with product, development, and operations teams to drive high standards of quality and process excellence.

The selected individual will work in the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team.

• Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, detailed plans, and test cases for both manual and automated testing approaches.
• Oversee and execute functional, regression, integration, system, and API testing for diverse product lines and releases.
• Design and maintain automation frameworks and scripts to maximize test coverage and efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria, promptly resolve defects, and advocate for product quality.
• Analyze requirements and identify comprehensive test scenarios ensuring all testing phases are addressed.
• Lead defect triage meetings, prioritize defect resolution based on business impact, and validate fixes.
• Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and toolsets to align with industry best practices.
• Mentor junior QA team members and cultivate a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Provide transparent reporting on quality metrics, testing progress, and risk assessments to all stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in software testing and QA management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Certifications in QA or testing methodologies (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA) are highly desirable

• Proven experience in both manual and automation testing environments.
• Expertise in regression testing, API testing, and all phases of the software testing lifecycle (functional, integration, system, UAT, etc.).
• Hands-on proficiency with test management and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing system defects and recommending solutions.

• Collaboration: Works effectively within cross-functional teams.
