GC - QA Specialist (US Estimation)

Reporting To: QA Manager / Technical Director

Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years (General Construction Estimation – U.S. Market

Job Summary:

We are hiring a General Construction (GC) Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure all architectural, structural, and civil quantity takeoffs are accurate, complete, and aligned with client expectations. The ideal candidate must have a strong eye for detail and experience in the U.S. construction estimation process, ensuring consistent quality in deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed QA checks on architectural, structural, and civil takeoffs before delivery.
  • Verify scope coverage and highlight missing, incorrect, or duplicated quantities.
  • Cross-check plans, drawings, and specifications to validate takeoff accuracy.
  • Collaborate with estimators to correct discrepancies and ensure quality benchmarks are met.
  • Maintain QA records, checklists, and approval documents.
  • Implement internal QA/QC procedures to reduce rework and errors.
  • Identify recurring issues and support continuous process improvement.
  • Provide feedback and support training initiatives for junior QA staff.
  • Ensure deliverables meet both company standards and client requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in QA for GC estimation, especially for U.S. projects.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Bluebeam, Plan swift, AutoCAD, and related QA software.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
