The Team: The current opening is with S&P's Private Markets Cluster that publishes Private Markets related information. The Researcher serves as S&P's in-house expert and will gain in-depth exposure to one of the many covered regions, while having frequent interaction with the team globally to learn the industry dynamics with a passion to create a symbiotic work culture.

What's in it for you: This position is an excellent stepping stone to understand the global transactions market dynamism, that will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market, and enable you to learn the various facets of the assigned industry, and as well as apply this knowledge to your daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Tracking and collecting comprehensive information/ data in a proprietary database according to S&P's guidelines for assigned vertical.
2. Extract and validate required information using search tools, press releases and websites, trade documents and regulatory filings.
3. Providing input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements.
4. Reviewing feedback involving ROF transactions content to help correct errors and establish or refine procedures and processes to improve accuracy.
5. Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
6. Keeping up to date on industry trends and reporting standards.

What We're Looking For:

1. MBA/ M.COM candidates with good academic track record.
2. Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment, while following flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
3. Strong Knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets and valuation methodologies.
4. Knowledge of financial statements and understanding of annual reports.
5. Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness.
6. Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
8. Strong quantitative, analytical and interpretive skills.
9. Ability to conduct efficient thematic online research.
10. Knowledge of any database or automation tools would be an added advantage.
11. Adaptability to work in any shift.
12. Minimum 1 year of career break.
