An ideal SEO Team Lead should effectively handle a team of SEO analysts and possess knowledge about all SEO techniques. The candidate should have exceptional attention to detail and good technical and analytical skills. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills.

Major Responsibilities as SEO Team Lead:
  1. Handle a team of SEO Analysts.
  2. Lead and mentor the team to drive business goals.
  3. Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress while delivering projects on time, ensuring quality standards.
  4. Make decisions about the day-to-day operations of team members, including management of work assignments.
  5. Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
  6. Perform and ensure completion of quality review checks on outgoing work by the team to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  7. Brainstorm new and creative SEO growth strategies.
  8. Review, analyze, and send weekly and monthly reports to clients.
  9. Ensure that the monthly POA and commitments are delivered as per expectations.
  10. Act as the subject matter expert for team members, peers, and clients.
  11. Take primary responsibility for all technical audits and ensure that the client website follows all SEO best practices.
  12. Maintain in-depth SEO technical knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS), Google Analytics, webmaster tools, back-end SEO, and various online tools.
  13. Communicate project development, timelines, and results to the team and management.
  14. Assign work assignments, commit the team to the work, manage the quality of the work, and drive people management activities within the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. 5-6 years of previous experience in SEO and digital marketing.
  2. Ability to lead a team of multiple SEO analysts.
  3. Experience in managing large enterprise or eCommerce websites.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to identify and resolve problems.
  6. Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize tasks.
