VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: MANAGER SSC - BU KARACHI CAMPUS

Candidates should have a minimum of 18 years of education, preferably MS/M.Phil.

Experience and Skills

Preferably 5 years of relevant experience at the university level in dealing with academic and student affairs or at the corporate level in managing SSC.

Job Description

The Manager SSC will be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Preparing semester and annual schedules of non-academic activities on campus in coordination with relevant departments and sharing them with the Directorate of Student Affairs at BUHO.
  2. Supervising campus events and co-curricular activities, ensuring their proper conduct.
  3. Maintaining records and tracking students' non-academic profiles.
  4. Coordinating the availability of funds and other requirements for SSC activities.
  5. Processing all correspondence through the Director of Campus regarding SSC matters.
  6. Liaising with BU Alumni for social and official events.
  7. Preparing advertisements and promotional materials for events.
  8. Maintaining and updating the SSC website and social media pages, including Facebook and BU websites.
  9. Ensuring the implementation of all policies and instructions related to non-academic events issued by the university.
  10. Compiling monthly progress reports and submitting them to the Directorate of Student Affairs at BUHO by the 5th of each month.
  11. Drafting policies and guidelines for all functions managed by SSC.
  12. Monitoring SSC performance monthly and providing guidelines for improvement.
  13. Automating SSC operations through centralized software in collaboration with the Directorate of IT for streamlined, one-window operations.
