Associate Psychologist

Join to apply for the Associate Psychologist role at Taskeen.

We are looking to hire an Associate Psychologist who will work with the Taskeen team to:

  • Provide telephonic mental health counseling services to beneficiaries contacting us for help.
  • Conduct mental health screening and provide appropriate therapeutic services to beneficiaries.

Experience

1. Background in mental health

a. MPhil or MSc degree or Diploma in clinical psychology (mandatory)

b. Lived experience with mental illness (preferred)

2. At least 1-year experience in providing psycho-social support to patients.

3. Candidate must have exceptional communication skills.

Other Information

  • Preference will be given to: Balochi speaking candidates.
  • Can be remote but preferred if they are in Karachi.
  • This is a full-time position (hybrid).

About Taskeen

Taskeen is a mental health initiative that aims to change people's attitudes and behaviors towards mental health and wellbeing in Pakistan through awareness, education, expression, and advocacy. Our digital and mass media activities aim to make Taskeen pioneers in the promotion of mental health and prevention of mental illness in Pakistan by:

1.) Raising awareness about the importance of mental health and reducing the stigma against mental health problems.

2.) Educating people about the causes, signs, symptoms, and management of mental health issues.

3.) Encouraging healthy expression to help people build resilience and improve communication.
