Education: BBA/MBA or relevant degree in Human Resources.

Job Overview: The HR Officer will be responsible for assisting the HR team to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of administration services, office management, and HR tasks.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department.
  2. Participate in the development and implementation of work methods and procedures.
  3. Follow up on and ensure appropriate implementation of decisions.
  4. Assist in training arrangements.
  5. Assist the HR Department in the development and maintenance of Personnel Policies and Procedures and new programs and services related to Human Resources.
  6. Provide administrative support to the HR Manager in executing HR tasks.
  7. Assist the HR Manager with recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes, and send appropriate correspondence to all applicants in a timely manner.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of sound personnel systems, policies, and procedures.
  9. Process payments of monthly payroll for staff and maintain strict confidentiality of all records relating to payroll.
  10. Administer the Employee Information System, maintain record keeping, and open new personal files for new staff.
  11. Participate in HR planning recruitment and prepare relevant procedures for interview and receipt of new staff.
  12. Help newcomers integrate with company departments.
  13. Perform any other duties assigned from time to time by the HR department.
  14. Coordinate and follow up on office assets.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  5. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  6. Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  7. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
