- Experience Required: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in patient billing support or healthcare customer service
As a Patient Helpdesk Executive at Pyramids Global, you will serve as a key liaison between patients and the healthcare system, focusing primarily on medical billing support. Your role is to provide timely, clear, and compassionate assistance regarding billing inquiries, insurance reimbursements, and account-related matters—ensuring every patient receives a professional and supportive experience.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to patient inquiries and requests via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Analyze patient aging reports on a weekly/monthly basis to follow up on outstanding balances.
- Provide detailed explanations of billing statements, insurance coverage, and patient responsibilities.
- Generate and issue patient invoices and statements in accordance with billing cycles.
- Contact patients regarding overdue balances and offer customized payment solutions.
- Resolve billing-related issues promptly and escalate complex concerns to the appropriate departments.
- Provide guidance and support regarding medical treatments, services, and facilities as needed.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all patient interactions and billing resolutions in the system.
- Ensure all actions are compliant with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Bachelor's degree from HEC recognized university
- 6 months to 1 year of proven experience in patient billing support or healthcare customer service is required.
- Strong understanding of medical billing practices, including EOBs, CPT/ICD codes, and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to explain complex billing concepts in a clear and patient-friendly manner.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Proficient in using medical billing software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Evening Shift: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Monday to Friday).
- Flexibility to work based on operational needs.
