Location: Islamabad, Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan

Responsibilities:

  1. Collect financial data such as incoming and outgoing payments.
  2. Assist in the execution of end-to-end monthly financial closing, including general accounting and bookkeeping.
  3. Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system and ledger accounts are accurate.
  4. Assist in payroll transactions with end-to-end verification.
  5. Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
  6. Enter financial data into software and ensure compliance with federal regulations and laws.
  7. Track accounting tasks and deadlines.
  8. Reconcile subsidiary accounts by balancing entries.
  9. Maintain historical records by filing documents, both electronically and physically.
  10. Create and manage receipts history files.
  11. Prepare CPRs and obtain signatures from vendors during cash transactions.
  12. Assist in preparing month-end journal entries, financial statements, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and providing monthly close deliverables.
  13. Process invoices, track invoice data, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain relations with local and international vendors.
  14. Track expenses, reconcile employee reports with receipts, and ensure adherence to company policies.
  15. Ensure all employees have relevant bank accounts and assist in creating new accounts if needed.
  16. Reconcile bank statements with company's financial records and resolve discrepancies.
  17. Implement policies and procedures related to accounting rules and changes, and automate procedures where possible.
  18. Stay updated with the latest accounting regulations, industry trends, and best practices; ensure compliance and recommend adjustments.
  19. Foster a positive and engaging work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
