About the Role:

We're building an intelligent opportunity matching system to connect investors with high-potential companies using data from Salesforce and company websites. The AI logic and contextual relevance scoring will be handled internally your role will focus on building scalable APIs, integrating the system with Salesforce, and ensuring smooth UI/UX via Lightning Components.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js (Express) or Python (FastAPI/Flask)


• Integrate Salesforce via REST APIs and build UI components using Lightning Web Components (LWC)


• Implement dynamic relevance scoring storage and retrieval (AI logic will be plugged in separately)


• Develop web scraping ingestion flows using Scrapy or Puppeteer to enrich company profiles


• Manage database schemas, relations, and indexing using PostgreSQL


• Create role-based dashboards for advisors and admins to view matches, logs, and settings


• Handle logging, job queues, and data freshness via cron jobs or AWS Lambda tasks


• Collaborate with in-house AI engineers to expose clean API endpoints for AI interaction

• DB: PostgreSQL


• Hosting: AWS Lambda or Heroku


• Auth: Salesforce SSO


• Monitoring: ELK Stack or Datadog

Requirements:


• 3+ years of full-stack or backend development experience


• Strong experience integrating with Salesforce APIs and building LWC-based UIs


• Comfortable working with unstructured data ingestion from external websites


• Solid understanding of API security, access control, and system performance optimization


• Proficient in Git-based workflows and agile sprint development

Nice to Have:


• Experience with job scheduling and task queues (e.g., Celery, Bull)


• Background in financial or B2B SaaS platforms


• Familiarity with Heroku/AWS DevOps or Salesforce AppExchange deployments
