We are looking for a freelancer / part-time SEO Manager to join our team. Our solutions involve a full range of IT services. The SEO Manager will have a strong understanding of web technologies and a passion for search engine optimization and social media. He or she will demonstrate good intuition with consumer search behavior and have the desire to expand his or her knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors to improve the user's experience. This SEO Manager will be an analytical thinker who is curious about the why, as much as the how.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize properties for content generation, on and off-page SEO factors, and link building.
  • Work with product teams to incorporate SEO & UX best practices, with a particular focus on launching new sites, site redesigns, product enhancements, new features, and taking sites down.
  • Create requirements and documentation that clearly state the core functionality and goals of the product.
  • Ongoing keyword research, analysis, recommendations, and execution.
Job Specification

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of SEO experience.
  • Power user of one or more of the major web analytics platforms (Google Analytics is a must).
  • Proficient using SEO tools such as MOZ, seoClarity, Brightedge, Conductor, SEMRush, Raven Tools, or Ahrefs.
  • Proficient in Google Search Console & Bing Webmaster tools.
  • Experience with white-hat link building.
  • Experience with and sound understanding of social media networks (like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, etc.) and their impact on SEO performance (a plus for social channel marketing optimization & experience).
  • Understanding of source code (HTML, CSS).
