Job Responsibilities

  • Review P&IDs with respect to Control and safety requirements.

  • Prepare Instrument Index following P&IDs.

  • Assist/Guide designers with the preparation of cable block diagrams, cable routing, equipment layouts, and termination drawings.

  • Prepare I/O list concerning Instrument Index, process, and control system design requirements.

  • Prepare and review Instrument Data sheets.

  • Prepare and review instrument wiring diagrams.

  • Review loop drawings.

  • Review and approve Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manuals of Instruments.

  • Prepare/Review Junction Box Schedule.

  • Prepare/Review Instrument cable schedules.

  • Develop specifications for field Instruments, control and safety systems, valves, and all other instrument-related items.

  • Prepare DCS and ESD specifications.

  • Review and approve vendor documents for instrumentation.

  • Conduct technical clarification review meetings with clients.

  • Perform technical bid evaluations.

  • Conduct kick-off meetings with successful bidders.

  • Liaise with disciplines inside the company.

  • Prepare Material Requisitions (MRs) and Purchase Requisitions (PRs).

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • BSc./MSc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in FEED & Detail Engineering within the Oil and Gas sector.

  • Expertise in engineering design.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
