Librarian

Part-Time Librarian

We are seeking a part-time librarian to join our team at a library in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of librarianship.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with finding and checking out books
- Organize and maintain library materials
- Conduct research and provide reference assistance to patrons
- Plan and coordinate library events and programs
- Assist with cataloging and processing new materials
- Handle administrative tasks, such as managing library memberships and issuing fines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Must have own visa and accommodation in Karachi

Salary: 1200$ per month, for approximately 20 hours per week.
