Our client, a leading name in academia, is looking for a Deputy Manager Corporate Communications for their head office in Lahore. The Deputy Manager Corporate Communications plays a pivotal role in developing and executing communication and PR strategies for the organization. Their responsibilities will include managing public relations campaigns, coordinating stakeholder efforts, maintaining brand image consistency, supporting internal and external communication efforts, and contributing to the organization's CSR initiatives. Additionally, they will engage with local agencies, facilitate team development, and ensure effective communication strategies are in place to achieve organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Communication Strategy Development:

  • Support management in all communication-related activities and develop and execute a comprehensive Communication & PR strategy.

Public Relations Campaigns:

  • Create high-level public relations campaigns through various mediums such as videos, investment guides, websites, and presentations to enhance the organization's reputation and visibility.

Segmented Messaging Strategy:

  • Develop a long-term communication strategy to tailor targeted messages for specific segments and target audiences nationally and internationally.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Network and coordinate efforts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment with organizational goals.

Brand Image Management:

  • Select materials to be published to maintain a consistent brand image and ensure all communication aligns with brand guidelines.

Internal and External Communication Support:

  • Assist each function of the organization in communicating internally and externally using appropriate tools and channels.

Message Identification and Medium Selection:

  • Identify messages to be communicated, select effective communication mediums, and define communication objectives.

Agency Engagement and Outreach:

  • Identify and engage local agencies for participant referrals, conduct regular outreach, and provide program orientations.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Support:

  • Assist with the production of corporate social responsibility programs and community events to enhance the organization's community engagement.

Team Development:

  • Facilitate the professional development of the team and support them in meeting improvement targets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree (Marketing / Communications / Journalism)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Positive, professional and collaborative disposition
  • Excellent writing, editing & proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in planning, organizing, and managing events
  • Strong design & creative skills
  • Proven expertise in content development and media and content writing, demonstrated leadership, public relations, and external stakeholder liaison
