We are looking for a passionate Assessment and Program Design Associate to join our digital Teacher Development team. This role will support the design of meaningful learning assessments, contribute to research-based program development, and enhance the overall impact of our training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment Design and Development
  1. Design and develop assessments for self-led and guided teacher learning courses aligned with instructional goals.
  2. Create diverse formats including quizzes, reflective tasks, scenario-based activities, and classroom simulations.
  3. Build progressive assessment structures that scaffold teacher learning from foundational to advanced skills.
  4. Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to ensure alignment between content, competencies, and evaluation.
  5. Design practical tasks that promote the application of theory in real classroom contexts.
  6. Develop clear rubrics and scoring criteria aligned with learning outcomes.
  7. Incorporate culturally responsive practices to ensure assessments are inclusive and relevant.
Program Research & Evaluation
  1. Conduct research on best practices in teacher professional development, assessment strategies, and career progression models.
  2. Support development and refinement of assessment rubrics and evaluation frameworks.
  3. Analyze assessment data to track teacher performance, identify learning gaps, and inform improvements.
  4. Upload, test, and configure assessments on the Learning Management System (LMS) or relevant content platforms.
  5. Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
  6. Explore the use of AI tools and analytics to personalize assessments and improve effectiveness.
  7. Coordinate with trainers, principals, and teacher development teams to collect feedback and improve assessment quality.
  8. Contribute to continuous learning and improvement cycles based on classroom realities and user data.
  9. Participate in workshops, training sessions, and program rollout initiatives as needed.
  10. Stay updated with evolving trends in online education, teacher development, and digital assessment.
  11. Regularly review and revise assessments to keep them aligned with global and local education standards.

Who We're Looking For

  1. Strong communication skills in English and Urdu (spoken and written).
  2. Ability to design assessments across Bloom's Taxonomy levels (from recall to critical thinking).
  3. Analytical mindset with experience in using assessment data for decision-making.
  4. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  5. Passionate about education and improving teacher learning outcomes.
  6. Familiarity with LMS/CMS platforms and digital learning tools.
  7. Interest in emerging edtech trends, AI in education, and inclusive learning design.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum/Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Experience

  1. 1–2 years of relevant experience in teaching, program research, instructional design, or assessment development—preferably within teacher training or professional development programs.
