Teacher Development Program Associate

The ideal candidate will work closely with content development specialists and trainers to ensure assessments are thoughtfully aligned with learning objectives and pathways, fostering continuous professional growth and development for teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align assessments for self-led and guided learning courses.
  • Research on assessment design for self-paced, online learning.
  • Develop assessments targeting desired competencies.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall training experience and informing achievement of teacher learning outcomes. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively are essential for success in this position.

Assessment Design Expertise
  1. Create diverse assessments, including quizzes, reflective exercises, scenario-based activities, and classroom simulations tailored to teacher needs.
  2. Develop assessments that build knowledge and skills progressively, from foundational to advanced skill level.
  3. Design evaluation rubrics and ensure alignment with teacher learning outcomes and assessments.

In addition to assessment design expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to identify learning gaps and guide program enhancements.

Program Research and Evaluation
  • Conduct research on assessment rubrics and program design for teacher professional development.
  • Support in uploading and configuring assessments on the content management system.

Regular revision of assessments to align with evolving educational standards and practices is also an essential aspect of this role. Staying informed about emerging trends in teacher training and assessment design is critical for success.
