Job Description: IGCSE Biology Teacher

Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for an IGCSE Biology Teacher at SuperNova School, Faisal Town Campus, F-18, Islamabad. The Teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, effective delivery of the curriculum, communicating with students and parents, and ensuring academic excellence in the subject of IGCSE Biology.

Qualification Criteria for IGCSE Biology Teacher

Educational Background:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biology or a closely related field. A Master's degree in a relevant subject is preferred.

Teaching Experience:

At least five years of teaching experience in IGCSE Biology, with a proven record of successful student outcomes and academic achievement.

Exam Preparation Expertise:

Demonstrated experience in preparing students for IGCSE Biology examinations, with a strong understanding of the Cambridge syllabus, assessment objectives, and marking schemes.

Instructional Skills:

Proficient in lesson planning, curriculum design, and using effective pedagogical strategies tailored to the IGCSE curriculum. Familiarity with critical thinking and analytical skill development is essential.

Communication and Classroom Management:

Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills. Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating learning environment.

Professional Development:

Ability to mentor and support fellow educators in the best practices of teaching Biology. Participation in subject-specific workshops or professional training programs is an added advantage.
