
Cold Caller – SMB Consultations

We are seeking a confident and articulate Cold Caller to initiate strategic conversations with small and medium-sized business (SMB) owners around exit planning, funding, and succession strategies. This role is not about selling — it's about engaging decision-makers in meaningful dialogue to uncover needs and set the stage for further consultation.
As the first point of contact, you'll play a crucial role in introducing our services and helping SMB owners begin thinking about their long-term goals. Your objective is to build rapport, spark interest, and qualify potential clients for follow-up by our advisory team.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to SMB owners via outbound cold calls
- Engage prospects in thoughtful conversations around succession planning, funding options, and strategic exits
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments for senior advisors
- Use CRM and call tracking tools to log activity and maintain accurate records
- Continuously refine messaging and approach based on feedback and performance
Experience / Skillset
- Experience: Proven success in cold calling, appointment-setting, or outreach — ideally in a B2B or financial services environment
- Communication: Excellent conversational and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build trust and convey professionalism
- Industry Familiarity: Comfortable discussing business transitions, funding, and growth strategies with SMB stakeholders
- Tech-Savvy: Familiar with CRM platforms and basic call tracking software
