The Sales Development Officer (SDO) will be the first point of contact for all incoming leads. She will be responsible for calling, qualifying, and filtering leads before passing them on to the sales team. In addition to communication, she will maintain detailed records of lead data and follow-up status using Google Sheets and other tools. This role is key in ensuring a smooth lead flow and supporting the efficiency of the sales process.
Job Summary:
The Sales Development Officer (SDO) will be the first point of contact for all incoming leads. She will be responsible for calling, qualifying, and filtering leads before passing them on to the sales team. In addition to communication, she will maintain detailed records of lead data and follow-up status using Google Sheets and other tools. This role is key in ensuring a smooth lead flow and supporting the efficiency of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:- Call and follow up on all incoming leads from various channels (website, social media, referrals, etc.).
- Engage prospects professionally, understand their needs, and qualify them based on predefined criteria.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each lead's details, status, and next steps in Google Sheets.
- Ensure proper categorization and tracking of leads (e.g., hot, warm, cold).
- Coordinate with the sales team by forwarding high-potential leads for further engagement.
- Monitor response time to new leads and ensure timely follow-up.
- Regularly update lead tracking sheets and assist in lead reporting and data analysis.
- Provide feedback to marketing/sales on lead quality and trends observed during conversations.
- Handle light administrative tasks related to lead management and reporting.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
- 0–2 years of experience in lead handling, telesales, customer service, or inside sales (Fresh graduates with good communication skills are welcome to apply).
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, MS Excel, and basic data entry/management.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Comfortable with a high volume of calls and structured daily follow-up routines.
- Experience working with CRM tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in [industry, e.g., renewable energy, education, real estate] is a bonus.
