Role Summary:

We are hiring a highly experienced Lead QA Specialist to oversee quality assurance initiatives in an Agile-driven software environment. The role involves leading a senior QA team, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions across the lifecycle. This role requires both technical mastery and strategic leadership in software testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead and mentor a team of senior QA engineers in day-to-day testing operations.
  • Define and enforce test strategies, plans, and regression suites covering system, integration, and release testing cycles.
  • Champion Agile testing methodologies (TWWGWD) and quality best practices across teams.
Automation & Tooling:
  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks leveraging tools such as SmartBear TestComplete (3+ years), Selenium, and Postman/SOAPUI for API testing.
  • Ensure full test integration into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments.
Functional, API & Data Testing:
  • Design and execute functional, regression, and performance tests.
  • Validate data integrity across SQL and NoSQL databases during test cycles.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
  • Manage the defect lifecycle, track quality KPIs, and generate actionable QA reports for stakeholders.
  • Develop reusable test assets, generate test data, and support documentation efforts.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce bugs, increase test coverage, and improve delivery velocity.
    • 9+ yrs QA with 7 yrs in software-testing leadership; guide team of senior QA engineers.
    • Define comprehensive test strategies & regression suites across system, integration & release cycles.
    • Expertise: SmartBear TestComplete (3 yrs), Selenium automation, Postman/SOAPUI API testing, SQL & NoSQL validation.
    • Build & maintain automated test frameworks; integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
    • Manage defect lifecycle & quality metrics; ensure Agile (TWWGWD) test methodology adherence.
    • Create reusable test assets, test data and detailed reports; drive continuous process improvement.
    • Bachelor's degree; strong planning, time-management, stakeholder communication; English & Arabic proficiency.
