Job Responsibilities:
  1. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports.
  2. Verify the accuracy of financial documents and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  3. Assist in payroll processing activities, including calculating salaries, deductions, and taxes, and preparing payroll reports for review and approval.
  4. Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries, benefits, and reimbursements to faculty, staff, and other employees.
  5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and analysis to support decision-making and financial planning processes.
  6. Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  7. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to process invoices, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role, preferably in the education sector.
  3. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and other financial management tools.
  5. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
