We are in the process of rapid growth and expanding our team. We are looking for talented Junior Accounts Officer to assist the Finance Manager.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's/Master's Degree preferably in Accounting and Finance/Commerce with a minimum of 0-1 years of experience in the relevant field in well-reputed organizations.
The candidate should have knowledge of accounting and finance and shall assist the Finance Manager in the overall implementation of company finance policies, performance evaluation of admin staff, maintaining books of accounts, and other related admin/finance functions. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition.
Note: Our timings are from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM. All candidates must consider these timings before applying. Candidates with previous IT software house experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Manager in formulating and implementing admin and finance policies and procedures.
- Assist the Finance Manager in conducting performance appraisals of personnel and probation completion sessions related to the admin department.
- Assist the Finance Manager in initiating disciplinary actions through investigation and resolving any issues or grievances among team members or personnel of the admin staff.
- Assist the Finance Manager in managing and supervising all resources and functions of the department related to finance.
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing reports and analysis based on the data provided.
- Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of cash book and bank book.
- Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of salaries.
- Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
- Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned.
- Assist the Finance Manager in communicating with bank personnel on a daily basis.
- Supervise and manage all day-to-day office administrative activities.
- Implement policies and procedures for lower staff to ensure fair usage of company assets, code of ethics, and company policies.
- Supervise and ensure quality work of office boys with regards to finance.
- Oversee the security staff and ensure the safety of office stock and assets.
- Handle all relevant external affairs of the company.
- Handle daily routine purchasing for the company.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Must be a business graduate in finance or related fields from an accredited university.
- Must have knowledge about QuickBooks/bookkeeping & double entry.
- Must have a good academic and conceptual understanding of finance functions, concepts, and theories.
- Must have some proven professional working experience in finance skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects and tasks.
- Ability to work in a team environment with other teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-learner and self-starter.
- Utilize time effectively and efficiently.
