Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), MySQL query optimization, and big data analysis. This role involves handling complex datasets, developing data pipelines, and driving insights to support strategic decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams to lead data-driven initiatives, ensuring our data infrastructure and reporting are scalable, reliable, and insightful.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Aggregate and transform data from logs, databases, and APIs.
  2. Design and manage data pipelines using Logstash and other ETL tools for Elasticsearch.
  3. Build and maintain Kibana dashboards for visualization and analytics.
  4. Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
  5. Write and optimize MySQL queries for analysis and reporting.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and analytical goals.
  7. Support development of machine learning models or predictive analytics.
  8. Document processes, pipelines, and findings.
  9. Mentor junior team members and contribute to data governance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
  • Experience with ELK Stack in production.
  • Advanced SQL skills, especially MySQL optimization.
  • Proficiency in Python or R.
  • Strong data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with big data tools (Apache Spark, Hadoop).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and predictive modeling.
  • Domain experience in finance, healthcare, e-commerce, or SaaS (preferred).
