**Job Description:**
As an Operations Geoscience Specialist at Weatherford, you will play a critical role in constructing geomechanical models to better understand rock mechanics. You will develop strategies and workflows for innovative solutions to complex subsurface challenges by analyzing and interpreting datasets such as seismic data, well logs, well tests, image logs, mud logs, and drilling reports.
**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain high standards of corporate governance, ensuring ethical and compliant practices.
- Prioritize quality, health, safety, security, and environmental protection in all operations.
- Execute geomechanical projects, including stress field determination, safe mud weight window analysis, drilling event analysis, fracture gradient prediction, laboratory core measurements, pore pressure profiling, log analysis, sand production prediction, and related tasks.
- Collaborate with clients to provide integrated solutions and understand their needs.
- Create presentations, technical papers, and project deliverables.
- Work with diverse technical professionals on multidisciplinary initiatives.
- Support the development of product lines through technical assistance.
**Qualifications:**
- University degree in Petroleum, Civil Engineering, Geoscience, or related fields, with strong technical capabilities in geomechanics and industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in 1D geomechanical modeling, preferably using Techlog software.
- Master's or PhD in Geotechnical, Geomechanics, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geophysics, or related fields is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable to change.
