To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting by leading the preparation of financial statements and management reports, in accordance with IFRS, local laws, and internal policies. The role is responsible for managing the audit process, enhancing financial systems and controls, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in preparing the company's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management operating reports.
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS, relevant local laws, and internal group policies.
  • Efficiently manage the year-end audit process and collaborate with external auditors to secure clean Management Letters.
  • Design the system setup to accurately reflect organizational responsibilities and ensure timely distribution of financial information (planned and actual) to budget holders via reports, system access, and regular presentations.
  • Foster strong relationships with budget holders based on mutual respect and trust. Support them through insights, budget reallocations, adherence to overall budgets, and by facilitating objectives, identifying risks and opportunities, providing financial simulations, and developing business cases for new initiatives.
  • Build and lead a highly motivated and engaged finance team.

Qualification, Experience & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant (ACA), with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Through understanding of IFRS and accounting standards, applicable in Pakistan.
  • Understanding of Companies Act.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP.
  • Advanced-level expertise in Microsoft Excel.
