We're looking for an accomplished accounting professional to assume the position of Accounting Manager, where they will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accounting Function Management:
    • Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure accurate, up-to-date, and compliant financial records according to IFRS and relevant GAAP standards.
    • Supervise journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
  • Financial Statement Preparation and Review:
    • Prepare and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
    • Provide guidance on IFRS and GAAP principles for accurate financial reporting.
    • Collaborate with teams to align financial reporting with strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
    • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and financial partners.
    • Work closely with finance teams and departments to support overall financial goals.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Stay updated on latest IFRS/GAAP pronouncements to ensure compliance with new adoptions and reporting needs.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
    • Monitor and manage financial risks, including credit, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Audit Support and Quality Assurance:
    • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
    • Collaborate with audit teams to ensure quality and consistency of audit work related to financial reporting.
    • Assist in preparing clear and comprehensive audit reports addressing IFRS and GAAP compliance.
  • Process Enhancement and Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline accounting processes for organizational growth.
    • Lead implementation of new accounting systems or tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
    • Evaluate and improve accounting practices to optimize operational efficiency.
