What is Manager Network - MMBL ?

The Manager Network Operations is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and daily operation of the organization's network infrastructure. This includes managing a team of network engineers, ensuring high performance, security, and availability across diverse platforms such as Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Fortinet, Sophos, and Palo Alto. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in advanced networking technologies, network security, data center infrastructure, and cloud networking concepts.

What Manager Network Operations - MMBL does?

Network Infrastructure Management:

• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust and scalable network architectures (routing, switching, IPsec VPN, SD-WAN).
• Ensure high availability and security across enterprise-wide networks.
• Administer security solutions, including Cisco FTD, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Sophos firewalls.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement network security protocols including IPS, VPNs, URL filtering, and Sophos proxy/UTM.
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage firewall policies and maintain updated configurations across all security platforms.

Data Center and Cloud Network Management:

• Oversee data center network environments using Cisco DCN, Huawei DCN, and virtualization technologies.
• Integrate private cloud solutions ensuring flexibility, scalability, and resilience.
• Manage network services in virtualized and hybrid cloud setups.

Network Performance Monitoring:

• Utilize FortiAnalyzer and SolarWinds NMS for real-time monitoring and alerting.
• Proactively manage network performance and uptime metrics.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for network incidents.

Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor the network operations team; drive skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, security, and business teams to align network solutions with business needs.
• Support ongoing projects by defining and fulfilling network requirements.

Governance, Reporting, and Strategy:

• Conduct regular capacity planning and network assessments.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management outlining performance, risks, and improvements.
• Contribute to IT infrastructure strategy aligned with organizational growth.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Network - MMBL?

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in network operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven expertise in enterprise-level network environments, including Fortinet SD-WAN, Cisco and Huawei DCN.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (FortiGate, Cisco FTD, Sophos, Juniper), and IPSec VPNs.
• Familiarity with iMaster Fabric Controller and iMaster NCE Campus is a plus.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE/HCIE, Fortinet NSE, or Palo Alto PCNSE (preferred).

Technical Proficiency:

• Strong command of BGP, IPsec VPN, Fortinet SD-WAN, firewall technologies, and network protocols.
• Experience with data center virtualization and cloud network integrations.
• Solid understanding of advanced security architecture and protocols.

Soft Skills:

• Effective leadership and team management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage high-pressure environments and multitask efficiently.
