TeReSol Pvt. Ltd. is offering a career-based opportunity for the position of IT/ Networks Infrastructure Manager.

Job Description

  1. Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers.
  2. Proficiency in network monitoring tools and protocols.
  3. Knowledge of data center hardware and physical infrastructure.
  4. Familiarity with security best practices to maintain a secure network environment.
  5. Lead and mentor a team of network engineers by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback.
  6. Manage escalations and resolve complex network issues.
  7. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  8. Ensure high availability and optimal performance of network systems.
  9. Monitor network performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Implement network changes and upgrades with minimal disruption.
  11. Proactively identify and address potential network issues.
  12. Respond quickly and efficiently to network incidents and outages.
  13. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues.
  14. Coordinate with teams to resolve complex network problems.
  15. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders during incidents.
  16. Enforce security policies and regularly review and update network security configurations.
  17. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  18. Collaborate with IT teams, including storage, server, and security, to ensure seamless operations.
  19. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  20. Provide regular updates on network performance and ongoing projects.

Job Competency

Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Networks, Computer Science, or a related field.

15+ years in an Engineering/IT firm.

Core Competencies

  1. Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
  2. Expertise in network switching and routing technologies.
  3. Experience with VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
  4. Understanding of network segmentation and security best practices.
  5. Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
  6. Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
  7. Capacity planning and resource optimization.
  8. Power and cooling management for data centers.
  9. Implementation of physical security protocols.
  10. Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  11. Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  12. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  13. Understanding of Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS).
  14. Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members.
  15. Effective performance management and goal setting.
  16. Conflict resolution and fostering team collaboration.
  17. Planning and executing network infrastructure projects.
  18. Managing stakeholders and ensuring clear communication.
  19. Budgeting and resource allocation for projects.
  20. Clear and concise communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
  21. Ability to present complex technical concepts in an understandable way.
  22. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
