  • This role primarily involve managing tax related compliances and operations under the respective laws and assistance over managing tax litigations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review of Income tax and FED/Sales tax payments, Income tax withholding statements and FED/Sales tax returns and statements for tax deposit and filing on timely basis.
  • Arranging information, coordination with External Counsel for preparation and filing of Annual Income Tax Return and related refund application for processing.
  • Responding to Tax Notices along with the information/documents, smooth conduction of tax audits a representing the company over the tax matters and support to team for managing tax litigations.
  • Coordination with legal department/external counsel over provision of related documents, filing of appeals, stay applications and reference before the respective forums.
  • Provision of tax opinions over the contracts, products/promos and business arrangements.
  • Tax Accounting and CMCC reporting on monthly basis
  • Dissemination of tax changes to related functions and development of tax related reports and refinement of processes.
  • Liaison with industry and Tax Authorities over tax matters and managing good working relationship.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills): Education:
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/part qualified ACA,ICMA,ACCA

Work Experience
  • At least 6-7 years telecom related tax experience.

Skills - Generic:
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Problem solving skills

Skills - Job Specific:
  • Strong knowledge of Income tax, FED, Sales Tax and Provincial Sales Tax on Services laws for compliance and related reporting.
  • Should have industry intel for tax practices understand and able to work over ERP.
