Maintenance Officer

Job Purpose

To supervise the maintenance activities in production area & provide support for smooth operation of machines

Education, Experience & Skills

• B.Tech / BS / DAE / B.E (Mechanical / Electronics) is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with different departments.
• Strong leadership abilities are essential for guiding and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative work environment, and driving performance and development within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Business/Maintenance

• Ensure that Adherence of PM checklist as per plan
• Working to timescales and deadlines.
• Involvement during Changeover, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities of production machines.
• Ensure that mechanical breakdowns are minimized and required OEE of machines are achieved.
• Ensure adherence of PM checklist and arrange for parts in coordination with maintenance manager when required during corrective maintenance.
• Ensure documentation and record keeping of PM checklists and records.
• To ensure logs and records related to maintenance of area are available.
• Carry out special projects as and when assigned to.
• To Identify & contribute in cost saving Projects for Operational Excellence Projects.
• To update Engineering Stores about required Inventory items & levels.
• Fabricate spare parts locally reduce dependence on import.
• Liaison with production and utility to ensure an effective preventive maintenance plan into place.
• Responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance plans of all Electronic Verification System installed at Production floor.

• Be a role model on Leadership essential behaviors.
• User performance development plans effectively for better performance and development of teams. Empower young staff members to make business decisions.
