The QA Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of billing processes and documentation. As a Quality Assurance Specialist for Billing, will work closely with the billing team to identify and rectify discrepancies, maintain data accuracy, and uphold the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of billing records, invoices, and statements to ensure accuracy and consistency with established pricing and contractual terms.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, discounts, and other billing details.
  • Collaborate with billing team members to address and rectify any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure adherence to billing policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date billing documentation, including contracts, pricing agreements, and customer communications.
  • Participate in audits to verify compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  • Quality Metrics and Reporting:
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to monitor the accuracy and efficiency of billing processes.
  • Generate regular reports highlighting quality-related insights, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement within the billing cycle.
  • Propose and implement initiatives to streamline billing processes, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Training and Development:
  • Develop and deliver training materials to educate billing team members on quality assurance procedures and requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to billing and quality assurance.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

We prioritize transitioning our existing employees to the QA department, when necessary, as they possess expertise in medical billing and documentation. It's simpler for us to train them in QA tasks than to hire external resources.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (If any):

  • Skilled in using software like Microsoft Excel, MS Word, PDF readers, and related applications.
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Collaborative team member.
Job Skill

Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively under deadlines.
