About the Role

Are you passionate about numbers, coordination, and ensuring the right product is available at the right time? We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Planner to join our team and manage stock availability across a diverse portfolio of local and imported publishing titles.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  1. Executing and maintaining inventory plans for local and imported titles to ensure optimal availability throughout the product lifecycle.
  2. Reconciling inventory projections and monitoring actual versus planned stock performance.
  3. Collaborating with Finance on quarterly budgeting and stock closing targets.
  4. Generating monthly reports on stock depreciation, cover levels, sales performance, and ISBN-level analysis.
  5. Working closely with UK and HK branches for intercompany procurement and imports.
  6. Coordinating with local teams and 3PL partners for shipments, clearances, and title availability.
  7. Supporting new launches and reprints by collaborating with Editorial, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  8. Facilitating S&OP meetings with data-driven insights and supply signals.
  9. Maintaining accurate records of sales, inventory, and product transitions (ISBNs).
  10. Contributing to product rationalization and stock write-off strategies.
  11. Developing and maintaining reports for operational reviews and leadership meetings.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, or demand planning, preferably in publishing, retail, or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
