Role Overview:

As a Junior Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software products to our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and project stakeholders, to implement effective quality assurance processes and methodologies throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC). Your focus on testing and quality assurance will help identify and address software defects, enhance software functionality, and contribute to the overall improvement of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, executing test cases and scripts to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues, ensuring timely bug fixes.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate software performance to identify potential areas for improvement and optimization.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide valuable feedback and contribute to the improvement of software quality.
• Work closely with product managers and business analysts to understand software requirements and ensure they are accurately translated into test cases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of testing activities and results.
• Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support effective testing processes.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the organization's quality assurance policies, processes, and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with both manual and automated testing approaches, with experience using testing tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in writing test cases, test plans, and test scripts for various testing scenarios.
• Experience with bug-tracking systems and test management tools.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A quality-oriented mindset, with a passion for delivering high-quality software products to end users.
