Deputy CTO – SaaS Product & Engineering Leader (Fintech)

We are seeking a visionary Deputy CTO with a background as a developer, expertise in engineering, and experience leading full-scale SaaS product builds in Fintech.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead technical strategy, architecture, and execution for large-scale SaaS Fintech platforms.
  • Build and scale secure, high-availability systems focusing on performance, compliance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Product, AI, DevOps, and Business teams to realize product vision.
  • Mentor engineering leaders and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Evaluate and implement modern technologies to accelerate development and ensure a future-proof architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards like GDPR and PCI DSS.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Engineer/Lead/Architect transitioning into tech leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, Laravel, or similar backend stacks.
  • At least 3 years leading SaaS Fintech platform development from scratch.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), DevOps, microservices, API design, and data security.
  • Experience with AI/ML, KYC/AML, or compliance-heavy products is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, event-driven systems, and data pipelines.
  • Experience in scaling systems for millions of users or transactions.
  • Leadership experience in a hyper-growth or startup environment.
