CSD Technician

Job Description (total positions: 1, posted on: Aug 20, Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated CSD Technician to join our dental hospital team. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all instruments utilized in dental surgeries and procedures are meticulously cleaned, sterilized, and maintained, adhering closely to our hospital's stringent infection control standards. This position does not involve managing a team; however, it requires excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with various departments within the hospital.

• Conduct thorough cleaning and sterilization of dental instruments to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
• Operate and maintain autoclaves and other sterilization equipment, ensuring they function properly and safely.
• Monitor sterilization processes according to established protocols, making adjustments as necessary to meet regulatory standards.
• Keep detailed logs of sterilization cycles, instrument processing, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with hospital policies.

• Education: Diploma in CSSD Technology or Diploma in Operation Theater Technician (with CSSD training)
• Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of sterilization methods (autoclaving, ETO, chemical disinfectants); Familiarity with dental and surgical instruments; Ability to follow protocols strictly
