As a dental hospital, we are seeking an experienced CSD Technician to maintain the highest standards of infection control. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all dental instruments used in surgeries and procedures are meticulously cleaned, sterilized, and well-maintained.
This position involves working independently with excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with various departments within the hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our stringent infection control protocols.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough cleaning and sterilization of dental instruments to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Operate and maintain autoclaves and other sterilization equipment, ensuring they function properly and safely.
- Monitor sterilization processes according to established protocols, making adjustments as necessary to meet regulatory standards.
- Keep detailed logs of sterilization cycles, instrument processing, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in CSSD Technology or Operation Theater Technician (with CSSD training) and possess excellent knowledge of sterilization methods, including autoclaving, ETO, and chemical disinfectants.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Education: Diploma in CSSD Technology or Diploma in Operation Theater Technician (with CSSD training)
- Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of sterilization methods; Familiarity with dental and surgical instruments; Ability to follow protocols strictly
