Medical Technician

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Preparing and dispensing prescribed medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
2. Ensuring accuracy in measuring and packaging medications.
3. Receiving and interpreting prescription orders from healthcare professionals.
4. Verifying the accuracy and completeness of prescription information.
5. Managing the pharmacy inventory, monitoring stock levels, and reordering supplies as needed.
6. Checking for expired medications and removing them from shelves.
7. Assisting patients with prescription inquiries and providing information on over-the-counter medications.
8. Addressing patient concerns related to medications.
9. Labeling prescription medications with dosage instructions and relevant information.
10. Packaging medications securely for dispensing.
11. Providing basic information to patients about prescribed medications, including usage instructions and potential side effects.
12. Offering advice on over-the-counter medications and health-related products.
13. Entering prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
14. Communicating with healthcare professionals to clarify prescription details.
15. Adhering to local, state, and federal regulations regarding medication dispensing.
16. Following pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety protocols to prevent errors.
17. Performing quality checks on dispensed medications.
18. Reporting discrepancies or concerns to the supervising pharmacist.
19. Monitoring for drug interactions or contraindications.
20. Staying updated on new medications, dosage forms, and regulations through ongoing training.

• Qualified and registered Dispenser from Medical Faculty KP or Certified Diploma in Dispensary from a recognized government institute.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in primary, secondary, or tertiary healthcare facilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and empathy towards patients.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations at local and national levels.

Preference will be given to local candidates and those with previous association with Pakistan Red Crescent Society & Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement.
